M.M. Parrish Construction Company’s humble beginnings came in the early forties, when Mercer Moorman Parrish, Jr. built his first home in Gainesville, Florida.  “M”, as he was known, believed that a company should exceed client’s expectations, no matter the size or scope of a project. 

In September 1968, M.M. Parrish Construction Company was incorporated in the state of Florida.  Since then, the company has grown to include offices in north central and central Florida, employing over 80 individuals.

“M’s” core values of integrity, craftsmanship, and dependability are the values the company was founded on and they remain the basis for our operations today.

There is no doubt that M.M. Parrish Construction Company is one of Florida’s premiere commercial contractors.  Our company is known for work at The University of Florida, including major additions to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and most recently our work on the new Steinbrenner Band Building. We have also managed numerous high profile commercial projects, including the Tioga Town Center and Naylor Publications corporate headquarters, and several religious projects including work at First Baptist Church of High Springs, Grace United Methodist and Norman H. Lipoff Hall. However, our primary focus continues to be k-12 (educational facilities) construction projects.  

We have been fortunate to work for school boards in fifteen different counties throughout Florida, successfully delivering k-12 projects in each county.  These projects have run the gamut from new full-service campuses and campus-wide addition/renovations to new classroom buildings, media centers and gymnasiums, as well as miscellaneous renovations which encompass just about anything you can imagine. 

First and foremost, we are a relationship based construction firm whose primary goal is to deliver our clients with a smooth flowing process, which helps establish long-term relationships.  The fact that the majority of our business is with repeat clients suggests that our approach to construction management works.
